Overview

Background

A simple messaging service, secure and authenticated

In addition, the technical structure of SEPAmail facilitates a direct interfacing with main client softwares of messaging service, including for the compliance with the security requirements (authentication and confidentiality).

Exchange of signed documents

Another SEPAmail service may enable simplifying the signature of contract or of amendment. The principle is based on interfaces enabling banks to sign a PDF type document (the more frequently used).

  • The sender of the message attaches its document, signs it and sends it.
  • The receiver receives it, signs it and sends it back.

Such a service does not require any development in the SEPAmail standards but only a standardisation of the signature modes that are selected.

Additional information

Such a service is currently being specified under the JASPE code name.
