RUBIS uses different standards:

  • SEPA standards, for SEPA Credit Transfers (SCT)
  • SEPAmail-messaging service standards, for interbank exchanges of the payment requests and directory flows
  • SEPAmail standards to identify actors by using the QXBAN
  • Bank standards to identify actors by using the IBAN
  • SEPAmail-RUBIS standards for the data organisation in the interbank context
  • SEPAmail-RUBIS standards to organise the data in the bank-customer relationship. Although the bank-customer relationship is the competitive space, SEPAmail-RUBIS defines a standard mainly for the usage of companies in order to avoid their systems evolution in case they change bank.
