Concepts of the experimental approach

SEPAmail has been launched in the banking sector which allows synergies with existing tools:

• with EPC works which have defined
  • the basis of the European means of payment
  • the principles and the standards of the SCT credit transfer
  • the principles and the standards of the SDD Core and B2B direct debits
• with a first vision of end to end services for customers both at the EPC level and at the ISO level
  • e-Mandate, Advanced Mandate Information
  • e-SEPA, Mobile Channel WG
• with the work of many European communities which contributed to the formalization of the "business" messages in the ISO 20022 context

Les aspects métiers étant normalisés, les concepteurs de SEPAmail ont pu se focaliser sur les aspects de messagerie sécurisée et d'articulation avec les principes métiers sous forme de multiples types de messages.

The banks part of the SEPAmail actors have launched several pilots based on previous work in order to provide a field anchorage in this early work:

• with a "customer" oriented approach (Creditor and Debtor),
• in real use environments,
• with the purpose to completely dematerialize purchase acts and related payment orders.
